
Here we go with our very first blog post...EEEEK! It's exciting to try new things. It's also scary. I don't know about you, but I'm an expert at feeling overwhelmed and fearful when change happens. I can feel lost, ineffective, and just downright worthless. So, I've developed the habit of creating little "rest areas", if you will, as I journey through my week, and I invite you to join me.
Each week, Breathe will post a topic of focus, providing "checkpoints" for you to rest at during the week, in the hopes of helping you remain joyful, worthy, purposeful, at peace, and attuned to what God's doing in your life. On Mondays, I will post some Motivational Media...perhaps a meme, a link to a meaningful song, article, or just an inspirational quote. On Wednesday's Word, we'll take a brief look at what the Bible says about our weekly topic. Finally, Forward Fridays will help us focus on the main idea of the week and provide practical hints, tactics, and strategies to help us carry our improved selves into the following week.
There is NEVER, EVER, EVER any shaming on this blog! This is a place for us to put aside the "filters" of social media and connect with our flaws and brokenness in a fully authentic manner. In keeping with authenticity, I am going to be transparent and tell you that this is my first adventure into blogging and I'm not "techy", so I am open to kind, respectful, and constructive feedback. If something isn't working for you, let me know.
