Contentment: Finding peace in what we have

Contentment is closely connected to last week's topic of gratitude. When we actively give thanks for what we have, we cultivate a sense of contentment, reducing the urge to seek fulfillment in what we lack. Contentment is the state of being fully at ease with what one has, arising from a deep satisfaction in the present moment or situation, finding peace and fulfillment without constantly striving for more. Wednesday's Word will dig a little deeper into this topic, but for now, I hope you enjoy this song by Chris Tomlin: https://youtu.be/Mk1VFwh08BE.
